Our Mission
The Delaware County Foundation strengthens our communities by connecting people through charitable giving.
The Delaware County Foundation helps donors enhance the quality of life throughout the county. Our donors are individuals, families, businesses, foundations and charitable organizations. Gifts and bequests help us meet the county’s growing needs by creating a permanent endowment for the future.
Since 1995, the foundation has distributed more than $12 million in charitable dollars. As a community foundation, we make it possible for anyone to be a philanthropist. We are a collection of ordinary people with an extraordinary passion for giving whose funds are invested and distributed to charitable organizations serving Delaware County and beyond. There are more than 700 community foundations nationwide, including one in almost every county in Ohio.
